Dualling connects Kilfennan Link Roundabout to Altnagelvin Roundabout. Includes the following restricted access junctions:

  • Lisnagelvin Road: traffic is permitted to turn right from the southbound carriageway across the central reservation into Lisnagelvin Road whilst traffic leaving Lisnagelvin Road can only turn left onto the northbound carriageway and must continue to Kilfennan Link Roundabout.
  • Altnagelvin Hospital; emergency vehicles leaving the hospital are permitted to turn right across the central reservation to join the northbound carriageway. Non emergency vehicles leaving the hospital can only turn left onto the southbound carriageway and must continue to Altnagelvin Roundabout.
  • Knightsbridge: traffic is permitted to turn right from the northbound carriageway across the central reservation into Knightsbridge whilst traffic leaving Knightsbridge can only turn left onto the southbound carriageway and must continue to Altnagelvin Roundabout.
  • Fire Station: emergency vehicles leaving the fire station are permitted to turn right across the central reservation to join the northbound carriageway.
