Proposed Strategic Road Improvements - A3 Armagh North and West Link - Link Corridors and Trunk Roads

Document Summary

The City of Armagh sits at the intersection of two Strategic Link Corridors. The A3 extends eastwards to Craigavon, and westwards to the border. The A28 links south-eastwards to Newry and the A29 northwards to Dungannon. The Armagh Area Plan 2004 included a proposal for several link roads to relieve the traffic congestion which occurs on the city centre road network at times of peak traffic flow.
