Equality Agenda - Accessible Information
Accessible Information and Alternative Formats
The Equality Unit is responsible for driving forward and providing guidance on Section 75 obligations to all business areas throughout the Department. The Unit monitors the commitment in the Department's Equality Scheme to ensure that the information and services DRD disseminates and provides are made as accessible and equitable as possible.
As a result of this the Equality Unit has produced a Departmental Guide to Making Information Accessible to help ensure that Agencies and Divisions provide customers with accessible information as quickly and effectively as possible. This Guidance has also been prepared in light of the OFMDFM guidance 'Guide to Making Information Accessible'
